DSS 36 CC
The idea of manufacturing our sailboat designs, which began as a hobby in 2003, evolved in 2019 into the concept of creating a completely new type of yacht, inspired by the unique circumstances brought about by the pandemic. What started as a concept design for a coupe cabriolet sports yacht opened the door to both our engineering capabilities and innovative ideas that had never before found the opportunity to be tested within the yacht industry.
The movable swimming platform does not alter the overall length of the yacht in its standard position; however, when opened 180 degrees, it expands to provide a usable area twice its original size. This application is exclusive to the DSS 36 CC.
Continuing with its engineering innovations, the yacht features a rigid composite hardtop that can be used either fully open or fully closed, making it the first of its kind in the world. In addition, the full-length side windows can be operated either synchronously or independently, opening and closing automatically. To enhance the yacht's aggressive design silhouette, the windows pivot and open from the front axis, creating a distinct visual character in every position.
Likewise, when the hardtop is in the closed position, a glass hatch integrated into the roof allows access and can be opened or closed independently from the roof system itself.
To improve driving ergonomics, a completely unique movable steering column and steering system has been developed. Depending on the captain's position, the steering system allows 200 mm of horizontal movement to the left or right. In addition, the steering wheel angle can be adjusted within a 35-degree vertical range. The electronic throttle controls and joystick system are fully synchronized with these steering functions.
The rear luggage hatch has also been designed as a movable structure. During normal use, the hatch can transform into a sunbed or lounge chair when needed. These features represent first-time applications within the yacht industry and are available exclusively on the DSS 36 CC.
The yacht operates on a full automation system configured as the DSS Management System. This integrated automation and software platform can be accessed through either a fixed or movable control display on the main panel, as well as through a mobile phone application. The system allows monitoring and control of all electrical and mechanical systems onboard. Thanks to its integrated GSM and GPS modules, the yacht remains accessible anytime and anywhere.
The propulsion system is equipped with two Doen DC100G waterjets, delivering exceptional speed and maneuverability. The pneumatic trim flaps operate in full synchronization with the automated driving system.
Beyond its advanced technological position, the DSS 36 CC also provides exceptional comfort for users. The yacht features a 320-liter fresh water tank constructed entirely from 316L stainless steel, along with an additional 100-liter fresh water tank located beneath the aft platform for shower use. It also includes 80-liter black water and 80-liter grey water tanks. With an 800-liter fuel tank capacity, the yacht is well suited for extended journeys and long-term use.
